Welcome home...

Finally, I'm so relieved that I've finally felt like I'm "home"... I'm in Singapore... he he..

Ate 7 plates of Chicken rice so far, the sumptous yong tau foo, "chiang qong niu rou fan", barley drinks, black pepper beef, very delicious soba, "yu wan mian", etc2. life is good...

he he ..  also... it's interesting to note that the playlists being played in public places are pretty much stuck to year 1990ish to 2002 era, therefore it's quite in my liking. In fact they still play songs sung by westlife, air supply, and only very few new hits in US are selectively being played here... though.. the playlists are more updated in lounges and social bars... conclusion ---> they sounds waaayyyyy better than listening to new raps and R&B hits everyday on the radio.. at least for me.. maybe "I'm so not hood" after all... ^^

Here are some pictures I've taken :

Jiang Cong Niu Rou Fan ( Onion Beef Rice ) and Ice Teh Peng ( Ice Milk Tea)

Yeo's Chrysanthemum Tea with Ice.. a school canteen favorite..

House of Tau Sar Piah.....

Here are some pictures of cars in in orchard area...

Oh.. the owner of the Bentley is an Indonesian... lol... and he happened to be my dad and mom's friend without me knowing about the relationship when I took the snap... I just hope that the driver didn't see me taking this picture.. haha.. otherwise so malu... -_-''

Okay... for some reasons I've always lived in a house with a construction site in vicinity, in indonesia, I have a neighbour working as architect.. which usually have people cutting tons of tiles and woods...

In States, I had alumni center built right in front of my house... and the demolition of two small frat house buildings nearby...

In Singapore, things are more interesting, I had a secondary and a primary school built in front of my house... and then hospital and MRT renovations, and finally the construction of ministry of defence... which I heard from rumores that the building had a very large and deep dungeon-like basement that they use to torture captured spies... scary enough?? he he

here are some pictures... lol...

Ministry of Defence in Singapore in front of my house. Complete with Steel barricades, etc2..

(Aaa.. no smoking ah.. you smoke they fine you one thousand dollers u know?)

Also, there's this interesting MacDonald's Menu I caught... it's a burger with rice instead of bread... check this out..

Rice-Based Burger... Definitely won't win Nobel Prize... or a space in my stomach...

ahh... one last look at singapore... it's paragon! what a nice and cozy place to hang out and dry your pockets....  he he..

I'm sleepy... heh... will continue again some other time... gotta sleep.. gnite...

*PS: Goodbye  (with mixed feeling, but also some relief)----->>>>>

V-day News Fuh-Lash!

Yeah... just when my sleeping hour's back to normal due to stomach infection, I got up at 6:05am due to extreme itching.. sleepy... hoahmm.. oh well.. yesterday was Valentine's day, guess the only thing I did in conjuction to this was exchanging Chinese Songs mostly to my friends on the other side of the world, and some songs I got from here too... strangely.. the last scene of my dream before I woke up was this old chinese - korean song sung by yoo seung joon Feat. Yuki Shu. titled deng bu ji ( can't wait)... Wait!...  I've attached the video (Thx youtube).. and if you're really interested to listen to it without the Xanga background song.. just click it.. it'll take you to the main page. I thought remembered something like (Yuki....take you in my Mitsubishi... then I went to google it.. cool! lol... )

I did study my GMAT today... bought another book for the practice test CD-rom.. Guess this is one of the few available chance for me to be more hardworking at right now ... anyway... to be a hardworking person is something  I want to be proud of... workaholic is definitely a desirable option... if I can ever reach that stage.. haha... sure..  just let me find my real passoin for a while...  the target is720+ for GMAT score oookay? it's get smart or die trying.. and make the $250 bucks worth spending! hehe..

I happened to be the listening hotline for 3 of my friends today... the first one is about his job... his problem is basically as difficult as choosing whether to dress jessica alba in bikini or in swimsuit... while both are really good offers and he had to make a decision by tomorrow.. therefore I told him I personally prefer Jessica Alba in a G-String... then he hung up... hehe.. jk jk...

Again, sometimes it's really vexing if you try to figure out what others are thinking about you... especially if it is kindabad... However, it is there when you think it's there... I wish I could have Jack Black's little defense mechanism that blocks out sad thoughts everytime it came out...  no problem boy!

Sleepless in.... West Chester, PA... nothin fancy...

Just spent the last 5 days in a hectic city called "New York", as much as I felt uncomfortable on my first step in the city, it's a feast for my senses, my brain and my mind.

As a start, lemme say that New York is a city like I've never seen. It is a city where individualism is glorified and very much encouraged. Strangely, amidst all the chaos the city has to offer, there's a comfort in knowing that everyone in the city is out there throwing out everything they have, dignity, pride, honor... to make something "big" out of their life... or just defending what they have.... It's a city where power has never been so celebrated before...

So what's so alluring about the city? The ultimate pleasure... some say.. is to touch the heaven and the gutter at the same time... it's a city where everything is possible... a restaurant with a price tag as hefty as a grand per person with homeless people just a few footsteps away.

Anyway, I guess I'm not built for new york... if I wanna be rich, I'd be Sam Walton... not Donald Trump... I'm so sleepy.... also.. i guess nobody reads my blog anymore? zzz..... come on already moved from frenster to here...!

Hidup ini gak tau kenapa, maunya maen terus...

Maen paling enak sama temen...

Temen yang ngerti mimpi lu...

Mimpi untuk membuat dunia yang lebih baik...

Dunia yang asik jadi tempet maen...

Operation Analysis - Beer Drinking (From my IE class lecture notes.. no really.. hehe..)

Brainstorming suggestions to improve beer drinking

Knock hole in wall to shorten distance

Switch position of TV and sofa

Move refrigerator

Drink from can

Move wastebasket

Put magnetic opener on refrigerator

Have wife bring the beer

Move refrigerator next to sofa

Don't bother to inspect glass

Get two beers at a time

Keep beers in a cooler next to sofa.

well that's it for y'all beer lovers!
